I called The Lawn Doctor and was pleasantly greeted by the ofc. mgr. Robin who quickly set my appointment for a visit.
The owner Scott and his son Kyler promptly arrived as scheduled in a freshly painted company truck announcing their arrival.
Scott astutely noticed a section of Bermuda grass in the lawn from sod I planted previously. Soil samples were taken and thatch ( lawn clipping buildup ) was noted. Fungus is present in my soil which destroys grass. Destroys enough spots to make it noticeable. Can be treated but expensive I was told. We discussed watering and best time of day to water to prevent fungus, nitrogen % applied over 6 applications, ways to get new seed into the soil, and lastly de-thatching and aeration.
Scott’s knowledge of his industry is unparalleled. Smart guy. I was very comfortable dealing with the company and can honestly say that I look forward to doing business with this family owned business in Powell OH.
